Capiz gets additional 364 vials of COVID-19 vaccines

ROXAS City – The province of Capiz received an additional 364 vials of Sinovac vaccines from the national government.

This is the fifth batch of vaccines against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) delivered by the Department of Health (DOH) Region 6.

According to the Capiz Provincial Health Office, the vaccines are intended for the remaining health workers in Capiz’s public and private hospitals not yet inoculated.

To date, 3,458 healthcare workers in Capiz have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

The province has 19 active cases left out of its 1,331 cumulative confirmed cases.

Roxas City has the highest number of cases among local government units in  Capiz with nine, followed by Cuartero, Panay and Panitan towns with two cases each, and Dumalag, Dumarao, Maayon and Tapaz with one case each.

The other nine towns in the province have zero COVID cases./PN
