BACOLOD City – Facing theft charges, two women were apprehended in Barangay 1, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
They were Jeizel Palermo, 32, and Aileen Palermo, 30, both residents of the city’s Barangay 4.
The suspects were caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 8:30 a.m. on April 13, a police report showed.
Judge Montano Cordova Medel of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities Branch 2 in Bacolod City ordered their arrest.
The Palermos were taken to the Silay City police station.
The court recommended a P6,000 bail bond each for their temporary liberty.
