‘Crackdown’ on vehicles with no plates, conduction stickers in Negros Occidental

BY DOMINIQUE GABRIEL BAÑAGA

BACOLOD City – Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) director Police Colonel Romy Palgue ordered a crackdown on vehicles with no plate numbers or conduction stickers.

He issued the order following the assassination of Provincial Consultant on Hospital Operations Mariano Antonio “Marton” Cui III in San Carlos City earlier this week. The assailants allegedly used two vans with no identification plates.

Palgue said he already ordered all police station chiefs in the province to apprehend and impound all vehicles with no plates or conduction stickers, pointing out that they pose danger to the owner as well as the riding public.

Palgue also called on the public to immediately report to the police any suspicious vehicle or motorcycle they encounter on streets to thwart any possible atrocities similar to what had happened to the capitol official./PN
