ILOILO City – Police seized alleged illegal drugs worth P200,000 in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Cabugao Sur, Pavia, Iloilo.
Taken to the Pavia police station were Charne Palomar, 26, of Barangay Santa Petronila, Tapaz, Capiz and Roldan Naquera, 20, of Barangay North Baluarte, Molo district here.
According to the police, the suspects initially sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P1,500.
Eight more sachets were recovered from their possession around 6:20 p.m. on April 19.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Ac of 2002 will be filed against the suspects./PN
