SAN JOSE, Antique – A drug pushing suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Maybato Sur here.

Jhowen Mandigma, 23, was a resident of Barangay San Pedro.

A poseur buyer was able to purchase from Mandigma a plastic sachet of suspected shabu for P1,000 on April 22, according to Police Major Benjo Clarite, San Jose police chief.

Eight more heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from the buy-bust subject. These were valued at P20,400.

Mandigman was taken to the San Jose police station. He would be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The buy-bust operation was a combined effort of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Antique Police Provincial Office and San Jose police station./PN
