MANILA – Milwaukee Bucks made a back-to-back win against Philadelphia 76ers after a 132-94 domination in the 2020-2021 NBA Season on Saturday night at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The victory pushed the Bucks to occupy the third spot (37-22) in the Eastern Conference.
Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped 24 points, 4 rebounds, and seven assists while Bobby Portis scored 17 points and eight rebounds.
Brynn Forbes and Jordan Nwora added 13 points each. Jrue Holiday contributed 12 markers for the Bucks, which crushed the 76ers three days ago with a 124-117 beating.
The Bucks set the tone early with baskets from Antetokounmpo, Holiday, and Brook Lopez for a 26-17 edge. The 76ers attempted to take the lead in the second but the Bucks managed to nail a 50-40 halftime edge.
Conversions from Portis, Antetokounmpo, and Nwora in the second half allowed the Bucks to stretch its lead further as it reached its largest at 38 points.
Shake Milton and Tyrese Maxey finished with 15 points each, Seth Curry tallied 13 markers, and Dwight Howard had double-double 12 points and 12 rebounds as the 76ers slumped to the second spot in the East with 39-21 standing.
Meanwhile, New York Knicks (34-27) stretched its winning run to nine games following a 120-103 domination over the Toronto Raptors (25-35) and moved to the fourth spot in the East.
The Knicks waxed hot in the second period behind Julius Randle as they turn a slim 30-26 lead to a 55-46 spread.
The Raptors managed to claw their way back since they were down to 88-83 before the Knicks went for a kill in the fourth period behind Randle, RJ Barrett, Derrick Rose, and Reggie Bullock.
Randle tallied a double-double 31 points and 10 rebounds. Barrett had a double-double of 25 points and 12 boards while Rose and Bullock gave 19 and 16 points, respectively, for the Knicks.
