ILOILO City – A village councilman landed in jail yesterday.
Rex Miranda, 45, was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant in Barangay Tagbac Sur, Oton, Iloilo, police said.
He was accused of violating Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
The suspect was taken to the Oton police station.
A P200,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
