VALDERRAMA, Antique – Due to rising coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infections, Barangay Ubos, Barangay Takas plus Purok 1 and Purok 2 of Barangay Bunsod have been placed on granular lockdown for 14 days from May 13 to 26.
Between May 8 and 13, Barangay Takas recorded five new cases, Barangay Ubos recorded six, while Barangay Bunson recorded three.
Mayor Mary Joyce Roquero’s Executive Order No. 22, series of 2021 ordering a granular lockdown listed the following measures that must be followed:
* Only one household member is allowed to go out to secure essential needs. This person would be issued with a home quarantine pass.
* Curfew hours are from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.
* liquor ban
* Senior citizens are prohibited from leaving the house except during their scheduled vaccination.
* no mass gatherings
* Funeral wakes are allowed but for a maximum of one week only.
* Gambling is prohibited in funeral wakes and elsewhere.
* No cock derbies.
* No dine-in service in restaurants, eateries, etc. Only takeout orders are allowed.
* Public utility vehicles must have a logbook for passengers. The maximum number of passengers they could accommodate is 50 percent only of their passenger capacity.
“Maghalong ang tanan. Likawan gid anay ang pagwa sa aton panimalay kun indi kinahanglan. Magsuksok kang facemask permi kag tumanon ang striko nga social distancing,” said Mayor Roquero.
