ILOILO City – Police launched a manhunt against a farmer for allegedly mauling his 79-year-old father in Barangay Tabug, Alimodian, Iloilo.
Tagged suspect was 45-year-old John Aldamar.
The incident happened around 8 p.m. on May 17.
According to the police, the drunk suspect got into an argument with his father Primo.
His father was advising him to stop drinking alcoholic beverages.
According to the police, the son struck his father with a bolo scabbard.
The father was recuperating at the town’s Aleosan District Hospital./PN
