BACOLOD City – A 31-year-old woman was arrested in Barangay Bulanon, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
Cris Joy Labadia was charged with violation of Republic Act 10175, or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, a police report showed.
A resident of Barangay Malasibog, Escalante City, Negros Occidental , Labadia was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 7 p.m. on May 17.
Judge Sue Lynn Lowie-Jolingan of Regional Trial Court, Branch 53 here issued the arrest warrant on March 25. She recommended a P24,000 bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
Labadia was detained in the lockup cell of the Sagay City police station./PN
