BACOLOD City – Charged with three counts of rape, a resident was arrested in Hacienda Napungulan, Barangay Tortosa, Manapla, Negros Occidental.
Donesio Ortiz, 28, was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 12:30 p.m. on May 22, police said.
The suspect was accused of raping a minor thrice, according to the police.
Judge Dyna Doll Chiongson-Trocio of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 40 in Silay City, Negros Occidental issued the arrest warrant on May 14, 2021.
The suspect was detained at the Manapla police station.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
