JINKEE Pacquiao took on the “Pinaka” challenge in a recent sit-down interview with doctor-to-the-stars Vicki Belo.
One of the questions Vicki asked Jinkee was about the news or rumor she hated the most.
According to Jinkee, people accused her of milking money from the boxing champ back when the two of them were just starting out as a couple.
“Before, nu’ng bago pa lang kami ni Manny, parang pineperahan dahil nagka-pera na ganu’n. Parang pera lang ang habol dahil nag-champion sa boxing. Nu’ng naging mag-asawa nga kami ni Manny, natalo siya nu’ng after kami kinasal,” she said.
Jinkee debunked the accusations, saying she stood by her husband through thick and thin.
Jinkee said she even had to reach out to other people to find pocket money whenever her husband would go on training.
She said she never once thought about whether Manny could provide for her or not.
“Never kong iniiisip sa kanya na ‘Mabubuhay kaya ako nito?’ Parang hindi ako nag-isip ng ganu’n,” she said.
Jinkee went on to share that she never thought that she’d get to have the kind of life she has right now back then.
“Hindi. ‘Di ba hindi mo naman [hawak] ang future? Kumabaga, God holds the future… Basta nagmahal ka lang, magkasama kayo, may mga ups and downs. Pero hindi mo alam kung ano ang mangyayari in the future.” (Push)
