BACOLOD City – Two drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Purok Sambag, Barangay 6, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
They were Rolly Dofeliz, 52, and Edmar Sta. Ana, 38.
According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Mary Rose Salve Pico, the suspects yielded nine sachets of suspected shabu valued at P408,000 and other drug paraphernalia around 7 p.m. on May 25.
Police also recovered a .367 revolver loaded with six live bullets from Dofeliz.
The suspects were brought to the Kabankalan City police station.
They would be charged with violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act)./PN
