BACOLOD City – Curfew hours in Negros Occidental have been shortened effective yesterday after Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson issued an executive order extending the modified general community quarantine status of the province until June 30.
The new curfew is now from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
In a meeting with the Provincial Incident Management Team on Monday, however, Lacson said they decided to retain the current four-day workweek at the capitol based on the recommendation of medical experts.
As of May 31, Negros Occidental had 1,452 active cases of coronavirus disease.
The province recorded 341 fatalities and 13,315 recovered cases./PN
