BACOLOD City – Accused of rape, a 70-year-old man was arrested at his house around 11 a.m. on June 8.
Nelson David was a resident of Barangay Estefania.
A 17-year-old girl claimed she was raped sometime in 2020.
The arrest warrant for Criminal Case No. 21-53334 was served to David by operatives of Bacolod City Police Station 4 under Police Major Jun Ray Batadlan.
It was issued by Acting Presiding Judge Phoebe Gargantiel-Balbin of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 41 on April 14, 2021 with no bail recommended.
David was detained at Police Station 4./PN
