BACOLOD City – A resident of Barangay 21, Victorias City, Negros Occidental faces charges for illegal possession of firearm.
The suspect, identified as 64-year old Manuel Salazar, was unable to show any pertinent documents for owning the firearm.
The suspect was apprehended after barangay resident Brinston Bryan Salazar, 29, called the police around 10:40 p.m. on June 11.
The suspect had been causing a disturbance outside his house.
When police arrived, they reported that the suspect was holding a caliber .45 pistol.
The suspect was detained in a cell of the Victorias City Police Station./PN
