ILOILO City – Six persons allegedly engaging in illegal cock derby were arrested in Fatima Subdivision, Barangay Santa Cruz, Arevalo district.
The suspects were:
* Roel Tabor, 25, resident;
* Dante Gerona, 47; Mhel Gabriel Edangga, 22; and Glend Medrocillo, 38 (all of Barangay Compania, Molo district);
* John Ervin Tan, 40 (Barangay Santo Domingo, Arevalo); and
* Ronie Gatpolintan, 54 (Barangay Mohon, Arevalo).
Police confiscated seven game fowls, P2,520 bet money and cockfight ring around 4 p.m. on June 12.
The suspects were taken to the Arevalo police station./PN
