BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu valued at P47,600 was recovered from a 31-year-old suspect in an anti-drug operation in Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Ryan John Cañonero was a resident of the village.
He was initially caught selling a sachet to an undercover cop for P500 around 1:50 p.m. on June 24, a police report showed.
More sachets were subsequently recovered, police said.
The suspect was detained at the Silay City police station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him./PN
