BACOLOD City – Two persons suspected of illegal fishing also face charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
Two firearms and several ammunition were seized from Panfilo Jordan and July Jordan, both residents of Barangay Miranda, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
They were apprehended around 1:30 p.m. on June 26 in Barangay Gargato, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental.
Authorities conducted a hot pursuit operation against the suspects for alleged illegal fishing, according to the police.
