VIRTUAL was very real for Media Wise Communications, Incorporated/Muse Books, as the Philippine publication powerhouse notched yet another win on the international stage at the IABC Gold Quill Awards, held virtually this year on June 29 because of the ongoing pandemic.
Its entry FINEX 50: Leading on to Wider Frontiers, a coffee-table book for the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines, bagged the IABC Gold Quill’s coveted Award of Merit.
The latest win was Media Wise’s third consecutive IABC Gold Quill triumph, an unprecedented three-peat by a Philippine company – or any other company in the Asia-Pacific region for that matter, according to Media Wise chief executive officer and executive publisher, Ramoncito Ocampo Cruz. Even more remarkable, the win was Media Wise’s fourth IABC Gold Quill in just five years, another feat by itself.
The win also marked Media Wise’s arrival as a global brand in business communication. Its coffee-table books are now distributed internationally and are available in libraries around the world, including the libraries of the Harvard University, Harvard Law School, Yale University, University of Wisconsin, the Library of Congress in the United States, Singapore National Library, among others.
