Pescador played a vital role in the success of the DNHS secondary girls’ basketball team, where they ruled the Fourth Congressional District Meet and Integrated Meet. The team also represented Iloilo twice in the Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association Meet.
For the 5-foot-2 Ilongga cager, her experience in playing in various regional meets will help her as she embarks on a new journey with the UST Junior Tigresses.
“I have been playing the sport since I was four, and that love for the sport has developed to this day. It was my dream to become a basketball superstar someday,” Pescador told Iloilo’s Sports LANG.
“I am thankful to all the coaches and teammates who were there with me along the way. All the lessons and learnings I got from them will be useful when I join UST,” she added.
