BACOLOD City – A drug pushing suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation on Rizal Highway, Barangay Lantad, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The police also seized eight grams of suspected shabu valued at P54,400.
The suspect was Geralyn Aguas, 34, of Sitio Guan, Barangay Balaring, Silay City.
The buy-bust was carried out by operatives of the Silay police around 10:30 a.m. on July 9.
Police said Aguas initially sold a sachet to a police poseur buyer for P1,000.
The following were recovered:
* seven heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu
* two coin purses
* P231 cash in various denominations
* P1,000 buy-bust money
Aguas was detained at the Silay City police station./PN
