ILOILO City – Four persons in Barangay Binuluangan, Carles, Iloilo would be facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 449 (Cockfighting Law of 1974).
Residents Raul Dela Cruz, Joel Olvido, Jury Dequiña, and Eldefonso Dequiña were caught engaging in illegal cock derby around 1:45 p.m. on July 18, police said.
Recovered from the suspects were two game fowls, gambling paraphernalia and P1,000 bet money.
They were detained at the police station./PN
