CAPIZ – This province logged an 86.17 percent recovery rate in coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), as of July 20.
Data from the Provincial Heath Office showed the cumulative number of confirmed cases hitting 5,031 since the pandemic started last year.
However, Capiz’s recovered cases were also high – 4,335.
With the death toll at 266 (5.29 percent), the province currently has 439 active cases (8.55 percent).
Data also showed that majority (84.19 percent) of the actives cases were either mild (49.54 percent) or asymptomatic (34.65 percent) and 15.81 percent were either moderate, severe or critical./PN
