ILOILO City – A land caretaker was shot to death by a masked gunman in Barangay Cawayan, Carles, Iloilo.
Police identified the fatality as 49-year-old Ricky Base.
According to the police, the victim was with his wife outside their house around 8 p.m. on July 25 when attacked using a .45 pistol.
As this was being written, police have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in the killing./PN
