ROXAS City – There are new investment scams in Capiz.
This became apparent, according to Police Colonel Aron Palomo, police chief of Roxas City, when several persons came out to file blotter reports at the police station here.
“Nagpa-blotter sila but indi pa man willing mag-file sang case. For record purposes lang ila for the meantime,” Palomo told Panay News.
Palomo advised the public to refrain from joining investment schemes especially if they are not sure if these are legal.
The city police director added they also have instructions from Capiz Police Provincial Office director Police Colonel Laudemer Llaneta to monitor all investment schemes in Roxas City and in the whole province.
Palomo appealed to the public to report to the police if they have information about illegal investment schemes in the city./PN
