KRIS Aquino thanked her friend Willie Revillame and the GMA-7 network for giving her the opportunity to have a television (TV) comeback after a five-year hiatus from TV.
On Sunday, Kris hosted a game for the 8.8. Mega Flash Sale TV Special.
In the middle of hosting the game, Kris thanked Willie for giving her the support to return on TV.
“Thank you Willie. I don’t think you just miss me. I think you love me,” Kris joked as she appeared on screen following Willie’s introduction.
Towards the end of her hosting, Kris took the time to express her gratitude to Willie.
“I would just like to thank you. If I remember correctly, way back in 2018, ‘sana bigyan niyo naman [siya] ng shot’. Si Willie talaga was really trying to find a way to get me to co-host with him way before Shopee came into our lives, before anything else happened he really gave me a chance to come back,” she said.
Just like how he supported her, Kris stated that Willie also has her support in whatever path he would like to take in the future.
“So kung ano man ang magiging landas na tatahakin ni Willie, kung saan man siya pupunta, he can count on me to be there for him kung saan man ‘yun,” she added.
Willie entered the screen and joked, “Kris, Shopee ‘to hindi ‘to love story.”
Kris then told him she is only thanking him for the support he has given her.(GMA News)
