ILOILO City – Two fishermen face illegal fishing charges.
Thirty-six-year-olds Roger Magbanua and Judeto Recomono were arrested in Barangay Nanding Lopez, Dumangas, Iloilo.
They were fishing in the municipal waters without a permit, according to the police and Bantay Dagat personnel.
The suspects, residents of Barangay Tiling, Cauayan, Negros Occidental, were taken to the Dumangas police station around 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 12./PN
