CAPIZ – Every first and 16th days of the month, the Capiz Provincial Park in Roxas City transforms into a “street market” where the province’s farmers can sell their produce.
The “Manindahan Ta Street Market” gives farmers another venue to market their products during this difficult time, according to the Capiz Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office.
Farm produce for sale include fruits, vegetables, root crops, and even livestock.
The Capiz Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office also conceptualized the “Manindahan Ta! Online Market” where residents can buy farm products online.
This initiative started middle of last year at the height of the coronavirus pandemic./PN
