PHILIPPINE bet Dindi Pajares on Sunday finished in the top 12 of the Miss Supranational 2021 pageant held at Malopolska, Poland.
Namibia’s Chanique Rabe bagged the coveted crown, succeeding Antonia Porsild of Thailand. Meanwhile, this year’s runners-up were: Puerto Rico’s Karla Acevedo (first runner-up); South Africa’s Thato Mosehle (second runner-up); Venezuela’s Valentina Sanchez (third runner-up); and Dominican Republic’s Eoanna Constanza (fourth runner-up).
Pajares was voted by her fellow Miss World Philippines candidates to represent the country and only had 10 days to prepare for the international pageant.
Considered a fan favorite, Pajares performed well in preliminary competitions. She was one of 10 candidates with the most number of online votes, a top 10 candidate in Supra Influencer, and a semi-finalist of Supra Chat.
The 28-year-old beauty from Bataan is also a Philippine Air Force reservist and a flight attendant.
The country had its first and only Miss Supranational winner through Mutya Datul in 2013, under the management of Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. The MWP organization acquired the local franchise of the pageant last year.(CNN/ABS-CBN News)
