BACOLOD City – A total of 1,723 personnel of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) completed their vaccination against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
These included officers, non-commissioned officers and non-uniformed personnel, said NOCPPO director, Police Colonel Romy Palgue.
Palgue said he himself got vaccinated on Aug. 18 with the one-dose Jansen made by Johnson & Johnson.
NOCPPO has 2,245 total personnel.
Palgue thanked the provincial government for facilitating the vaccination.
As of Aug. 23, NOCPPO recorded 211 COVID-19 cases among its personnel. Two died./PN
