HAMTIC, Antique – Eleven offices of the local government unit (LGU) here temporarily closed yesterday. Two employees tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Mayor Julius Pacificador ordered a disinfection of the offices and contact tracing.
Closed “until further notice were the offices of the Mayor, Assessor, Budget Officer, Accountant, Treasurer, Planning and Development, Environment and Natural Resources, Engineer, Human Resource Management, Civil Registrar, and Social Welfare and Development.
The rest of the offices of the LGU remained open.
As of Aug. 25, Hamtic had 54 active COVID-19 cases./PN
