Pia Wurtzbach’s ‘ultimate dream’? To become a theater actor

SHE has already fulfilled her dreams of becoming an actress and a beauty queen.

But Pia Wurtzbach still has yet to see her ultimate dream realized, and that is to become a theater actor.

In her latest vlog, where she answered questions sent by her fans on Instagram, the former Miss Universe shared that she has always dreamed about joining theater, saying it is her big “what if” in life.

“My ultimate dream? ‘Wag kayo tatawa ha. Theater is my ultimate dream. It’s my big what if in life,” she said.

“Every time I watch a play or a musical in person, I feel like I’m being transported into that world, and I can’t help but think na grabe, and galing nila,” she added.

Noting that theater takes a lot of talent and discipline, Pia said: “Ang theater kasi, from my understanding, ‘di ako expert, but theater is a kind of discipline where… wala kasing cut. You only get one chance to do it because live siya. So ‘pag nagkamali ka, actually, ‘di ka pwedeng magkamali.”

“Frustrated singer din kasi ako, kung hindi niyo alam,” she continued.

Pia, 31, was already an actress before she ventured into pageantry and later won the Miss Universe pageant in 2015.

As Pia Romero, her former stage name, she was seen on TV via the teen-oriented series K2BU and on the big screen via films Kung Ako Na Lang Sana and All About Love.

As Pia Wurtzbach, she starred in the blockbuster movies Gandarrapido: The Revenger Squad and My Perfect You, her first film in a lead role.(Push)
