BACOLOD City – A member of the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) community was found hanging in the house of his second cousin in Barangay Pinucotan, Calatrava, Negros Occidental around 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 22.
The victim was a 28-year-old resident of Barangay General Luna, Toboso, Negros Occidental.
According to the police, the victim and his second cousin, also his alleged live-in partner, had an argument just hours prior.
The victim had scratches on both hands, police said.
He was rushed to the Calatrava Health Office but the attending physician declared him dead on arrival.
