BACOLOD City – Around 91 percent of the workforce of the Bacolod-Silay Airport in Silay City, Negros Occidental already received their coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) jabs.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, 242 of the 266 airport employees got free vaccines.
The others remained undecided.
Meanwhile, the airport confirmed that 120,000 doses of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines arrived via a Philippine Airlines flight yesterday.
The shipment was divided to Bacolod City (18,720) and Negros Occidental (107,640)./PN
