BACOLOD City – A sugarcane worker died while his son was injured in a shooting in Purok Maria Elena, Barangay Dulao, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Renato Bautista Jr., 58, and Renato III, 30, were both residents of the village.
The incident happened around 9:50 a.m. on Oct. 7.
Tagged suspect was 50-year-old Joey Batallon.
He used a .45-caliber pistol and later turned himself in to the police station.
The victims were working when the suspect reportedly confronted them.
An argument ensued, police said./PN
