CAPIZ – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) in Capiz province logged only two candidates who withdrew their certificates of candidacy (COC) for the May 2022 elections.
Capiz election supervisor Atty. Wil Arceñas said the two were Edwin Delmo and Johnny Salcedo who were supposed to run for Sangguniang Panlalawigan member of the 2nd District of Capiz and Sangguniang Bayan member of Dumalag, Capiz, respectively.
There was no substitute for Delmo but for Salcedo, Ramona Mae Misa Salcedo showed up as a substitute.
Delmo would have ran under PROMDI while Salcedo under PDP-Laban./PN
