BACOLOD City – The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic is not over yet so the minimum health protocols must always be complied with.

This was emphasized by Mayor Evelio Leonardia, noting the continued decline in COVID cases in this city.

Bacolod will remain under Alert Level 2 for the first 15 days of the month.

The curfew remains from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Sale and public consumption of liquor and other intoxicating beverages is allowed from 12 noon until 10 p.m. only.

Intrazonal and interzonal travel into and out of Bacolod is allowed.

Inbound passengers are required to present COVID-9 vaccination cards, while those unvaccinated must present a negative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival.

The use of face shield in public places will remain voluntary, according to Leonardia.

On Nov. 29, this city recorded only two new COVID-19 cases, the lowest yet since the pandemic started last year.

The real-time active cases were also down to only 273, as of Nov. 29.

Leonardia attributed the decline to the people’s support to the vaccination drive, and the hard work of healthcare frontliners./PN
