ILOILO City – A 72-year-old man was shot to death by his grandson in an altercation in Barangay Agpipili, Lemery, Iloilo on Sunday.
Gaudioso Arevalo died of multiple gunshot wounds on the stomach and feet at the Sara District Hospital.
Police said the victim and his grandson, Mon Robert Imbien were having a drinking spree around 7 p.m. at the house of one Jeffrey Cervas.
Later, Imbien reportedly told his grandfather to go home because he was too drunk.
Arevalo got irked and argued with his grandson.
Imbien shot the elderly thrice, police said.
He turned himself in to the Lemery police station./PN
