ROXAS City – The city government started to beautify its bridges through a project dubbed “Kulay Tulay.”
Yesterday, in line with the celebration of Sinadya 2021 (the annual city fiesta), the city government launched the project at Tiza Bridge, the first bridge it repainted.
According to Mayor Ronnie Dadivas, three more bridges would be beautified.
The Kulay Tulay project is inspired by the history and culture of Roxas City.
“Ini nagasimbolo sang aton mga handum, paglaum, paghiliusa kag pamatuod nga kun kita nagabinuligay may masanag nga palaabuton sa aton syudad,” said Dadivas.
The city mayor thanked the artists who made the project possible.
Kulay Tulay is tapping the creativity of the city’s artists in partnership with the Filamer Christian University (FCU) Alumni Association and Davies Paints and local artists.
Recently, Davies Paints, represented by Lindsey Barbasa, turned over their initial sponsorship of 128 gallons of paint.
The artist groups helping the project are Eyecan Creatives, 036 Project, AAC, CAPSU Artists, GUHIT PINAS CAPIZ, and XAPHM./PN
