ILOILO City – The regional office of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in Western Visayas has a new regional director.
In Special Order No. 1-2022 dated Jan. 3, 2022, DPWH acting secretary Roger G. Mercaco bared the reassignment of Engineer Tiburcio Canlas as new regional director of DPWH-6.
He replaced Engineer Lea N. Delfinado who, in a separate order (Special Order No. 02-2022), was reassigned as director of the DPWH’s Bureau of Design.
“In the interest of the service and pursuant to the provisions of Sections 6 and 37, Executive Order No. 124, dated 30 January 1987, Engineer Tiburcio DL Canlas is hereby reassigned as Regional Director, DPWH Region VI, vice Engr. Lea N. Delfinado, reassigned,” Special Order No-2022 read.
The order took effect immediately.
Canlas was the former regional director of DPWH Cordillera Administrative Region./PN
