ILOILO – A 55-year-old man reportedly hanged himself in Barangay San Nicolas, Oton town on Jan. 2.
He was found dangling from a Talisay tree at around 7:30 p.m.
Family members took him to the nearest medical facility where he was officially declared dead.
According to the police, the man was suffering from an undisclosed illness.
In another story, a theft suspect was caught leaving a store in Barangay Ed Ganzon, Iloilo City with a transistor radio worth P1,150 without first paying the cashier.
Allan Manzanares, 50, was a resident of Barangay Bantayan, Cebu City. He was arrested at around 2:15 p.m. on Jan. 3.
The suspect was taken to Police Station 1./PN
