ROXAS CITY – From P10 kilos monthly, the rice subsidy per family in this city will be increased to 15 kilos starting February this year.
According to Roxas City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas, this is to further lighten the burden of every household because of the current COVID-19 pandemic.
To note, around 45, 000 families here are benefitting from this rice subsidy.
The city mayor assured to hasten the rebagging, delivery, and distribution of this rice aid to the beneficiaries in the barangays.
“Siguruhon namon nga sa tunga sang pandemya, padayon kami nga mangin instrumento agud mapamag-an ang inyo guinpas-an,” said Dadivas.
Dadivas thanked NFA Capiz under NFA Acting Branch Manager Cashmere Gemarino for their assistance in making sure the quality of the rice and for the fast-tracking of the release going to everyone’s table./PN
