P5K for workers displaced during Alert Level 3 – DOLE

ILOILO City – A one-time financial assistance of P5,000 will be released to each private sector worker who lost his/her job due to retrenchment, permanent or temporary closure of his/her employer’s establishment during the implementation of the coronavirus pandemic Alert Level 3.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region 6 is now accepting applications for its COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) 3.

CAMP 3 provides financial support to displaced or temporarily laid-off workers due to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID 19) pandemic during the hoisting of the Alert Level 3 status in the region this year.

“CAMP 3 will touch the lives of thousands of workers affected by the pandemic and will help them survive these trying times,” said DOLE Region 6 director Sixto Rodriguez Jr.

Only private establishments that have implemented temporary closure and retrenchment or permanent closure during the declaration of Alert Level 3 are qualified. 

Companies are also required to report the closure to the online DOLE Establishment Reporting System (ERS).

Affected establishments may submit the applications with complete documentary requirements to https://reports.dole.gov.ph.   

Applications for affected establishments must include the latest payroll covering November or December 2021 onwards.

In the absence of the payroll, companies may submit any of the following documents stated in Labor Advisory No. 12-A series of 2020:

* proof of payments of wages via logbook or ledger  

* employment status

* cash voucher or petty cash voucher

* authority to debit account sent by employer to bank for wages of the employees,

* Social Security System, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG Alphalist of remittances or the list of employees with 13th month pay.

Workers and employees who temporarily or permanently lost their jobs due to the declaration of Alert Level 3 may also submit their online application with a clear photo of the applicant holding a valid government-issued ID and the duly notarized proof of employment which includes Certificate of Employment, Notice of Termination, Notarized Affidavit of Termination of Employment, or Notice of Temporary Lay-Off covering the period of Alert Level 3.

A notice of approval or denial will be sent to the applicant though electronic mail or SMS./PN
