The Province of Guimaras records 13 new cases of COVID-19 on 16 February 2022 bringing the total number of cases in the island to 3,646.
The new cases are all local residents. The breakdown of new cases are: Jordan (3), Sibunag (1), San Lorenzo (2), Nueva Valencia (5) Buenavista (2).
The number of COVID-19 active cases in the province decreased to 122 where 35 came from the Municipality of Buenavista, 23 from San Lorenzo, 30 from Jordan, 19 from Nueva Valencia and 15 from Sibunag. Of the total recorded cases in the province, 91.44% (3,334) have recovered while 4.80% (175) have died. (Guimaras LGU FB Page)
