BACOLOD City – A 58-year-old wife was detained in the police station of Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Luz Mary Dela Cruz was a suspect in the hacking of her husband Florencio, 67, at about 6 p.m. on March 1 in their house in Purok Bug-as, Barangay Santa Cruz.
Florencio died due to multiple hack wounds. He mauled their son and this angered his wife, police said.
A bolo was used on Florencio.
Dela Cruz voluntarily surrendered to the Murcia police./PN
