ILOILO – A man was shot in Barangay General Luna, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo.
Racon Moderes was taken to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Iloilo City on Wednesday for a gunshot wound on the abdomen.
Two others – Leopoldo Pecasis and Fernando Paclibar – sustained slight injuries.
All three men were residents of the barangay.
The shooting happened at around 3:20 p.m. in a corn plantation.
Police named three suspects – Delfin Solinap Sr., 72, and son Delfin Jr., 31, both of Barangay Poblacion, Santa Barbara, Iloilo; and Reynaldo Palmes of Barangay General Luna. They were detained at the Barotac Viejo police station.
Police said the shooting was triggered by a land dispute./PN
