ILOILO City – The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) kicked off its 2022 National Women’s Month celebration in Camp Delgado here by awarding Medalya ng Papuri to 10 policewomen-achievers.
During the March 7 flag-raising ceremony, the awardees were honored. They were the following:
1. Police Lieutenant Colonel Joem Malong – Bago City Police Station
2. Police Major Shella Mae Sangrines – Iloilo City Police Station 1
3. Police Major Rowena Hubero – Barotac Nuevo Municipal Police Station
4. Police Lieutenant Merry Chris Dela Cruz – Capiz Police Provincial Office
5. Police Executive Master Sergeant Nina agunsan – Hamtic Municipal Police

This year’s celebration theme is, “We Make Change Work for Women” and the subtheme is, “Agenda ng Kababaihan, Tungo sa Kaunlaran”.
Director Anna Liza Umpar, regional director of National Intelligence Coordination Agency 6, is the awarding program guest of honor and speaker.
“I, therefore, invite our Philippine National Police friends to sustain this tradition of rewarding our female police officers beside their male counterparts for their invaluable contribution to law enforcement.
