ILOILO City – The Iloilo City Modular Hospital in Barangay So-oc, Arevalo district may now operate.
The Department of Health’s (DOH) Health Facilities and Service Regulatory Bureau has issued a License to Operate to The Medical City (TMC)-Iloilo – the city government’s partner for the operation of the modular hospital.
The 77-bed capacity modular hospital will serve as TMC’s extension facility.
Aside from managing the operation of the modular hospital, TMC-Iloilo will also training the medical personnel, integrate the hospital’s information system, and provide diagnostic services.
The validity of the license, issued by DOH Director IV Atty. Nicolar B. Lutero, is effective March 7, 2022 to Sept. 6, 2022.
“Finally we will be able to operate our modular field hospital under The Medical City Iloilo’s supervision. This will give us a total of 77 additional beds for coronavirus disease cases,” said Treñas./PN
