BACOLOD City – A total of 2,600 families in Isabela, Negros Occidental were affected by super typhoon “Odette” in December last year.
Thursday last week, they received P10.4-million worth of roofing materials from the provincial government.
The materials included corrugated and plain galvanized iron sheets.
Food packs were also distributed to the affected residents
A group of businessmen who joined the provincial government’s relief effort last week also provided mattresses.
The budget for the rice handed to the affected residents reached P600,000, according to Negros Occidental governor Eugenio Jose Lacson./PN
